For the fun of it I have shot at 90 meters (about 100 yards) and put 6
arrows at the foot of the target. The TAMU archery club had the target out
and for them it is 4 feet to the center of the target from the ground. It
just takes practis and it can be done. I was going to shoot at 100 yards at
Southern Reagional, but with the practis we had none of us could hit the
target from 100 yds. so we moved up to 70 yrds. and all four of us hit the
target at least once. Two of us were shooting bows of about 35 pounds draw
at our draw leingth.
