anyone got the *exact* wording of this ????  - the historian aspect
of my nature is curious, and so far heard at least a half dozen
differing variants from as many information channels.
 
a general suggestion for all those in position to officially speak
for the SCA at an official level  ... humans being humans and having
a powerful information technolgy that has become a simple utility in
their lives (the internet), it's an accepted fact that the internet
*will* pick up and almost immediately pass along your "official
words", and not necessarily with all nuance and detail intact ... in
the time that it takes for those origional words and intent to be
officially published in the traditional way, those words can take on
a  life of their own and create confusion and in some cases
misunderstandings.    

sooo .... when something is deemed official, why not take a moment
and write it out *exactly* and either send it verbatim under your
name into the commonly used information channels .. or a *better*
solution, post it on the kingdom web server in a central location and
pass along pointers to that document.
