Yes, as Hawkins points out, he did not "win" the champions' tourney.

But he was the last of 30 fencers alive on the Midrealm side.

He fenced with style and grace and took all the attention in stride.

Her Majesty Calontir joined Her Majesty Ansteorra in watching the entire 
tournament.

Later in the week, Her Highness Calontir came to the field and fenced with 
Hawkins and another fencer (my lady, Dona Nataliia). Her Highness has fenced 
with some of the Middle Kingdom folks across from her home in St. Louis.

Don Robert MacFarland received an honor from Her Majesty Ansteorra for his 
courteous behavior on the list field. (He and the other Ansteorrans were 
fighting for the East).
