ANST - hiding tents and mudanities

There are both pluses and minuses to using walls around
individual campsites. If the main reason is to hide or
disguise mundane tents there are other ways if you don't
like the walls.

I have heard of some good work that has been done
disguising small dometents as wattle and daub huts for
instance. This probably doesn't work well if your tent
is flourescent orange, but is somthing to think about.
I also have period etchings of German Landsknecht camps
with what look very similar to modern dometents.

While even more expensive than period pavilions, I have
seen some very nice portable wooden buildings used also.
For the truely decadent this is sometimes the way to go.

Period tents need not be expensive, although generally you
end up trading off work and effort for a less-expensive tent.
If you think you might like to make your own tent, there are
a number of files in this section that you might find helpful.

The use of period tents vs. mundane tents, camp walls vs. no walls,
