folks, there's a simple solution for the instances when online things
veer off tangent and you get overly annoyed with other peoples
comments ... it's a arcane and underused device known as the "delete
key" ... as you read this, look down and to your right hand, it
usually lives above it in a clear line of sight. or sic your mouse
on the virtual delete button that's hovering around somewhere on your
screen ....

multiple people publically jumping on a "offender" only serves to
make a simple mistake a major issue. usually takes one, which
provokes other's to join, and soon it's degenerated into a virtual
"school-yard, gang-up" scene ... if you really feel the driving need
to attempt to censor or correct someones public mistakes (real or
perceived), take the initiative and send it directly to them in
direct, private, one-one email ... let their public simply mistake
fade away ... it's only a big issue ig you make it so

always remeber, it's usually easier to fight a fire with water than
gasoline ... unless the intent is to feed the fire. and most of
these virtual "fies" will simply fade out if you ignore them.

the basic mantra of the old FidoNet system applies ... "don't be so
easily annoyed"

'wolf
... must be a slow day if the origional source comment is all people
have to talk about
