Ugh!!  Tantor, unk!  Me no longer no longer write English!

Here's a re-write:

Something that -I- remember some friends trying when I was still in grad school in another
kingdom, was attempting to get lots of friends onto a single family membership, so that
they could throw the voting on new landed baron.  I guess that this wasn't working
out...they next tried to get us to sign up with a sustaining membership...even though we
weren't in the SCA at the time, were really too busy to participate, and had no clue as to
and had no clue as to, what was going on.  The sustaining was too expensive to help out
friends.
