Quoting from the original message :

Please pardon the bandwidth but I am curious if there
are any reserved colors for cloth baldrics? We are
considering having the individual TRF co-ordinators
wearing these to make them easier to locate at
Ren-Faire and I do not wish to step on any toes.
Would we be able to use yellow/gold baldrics with
Ansteorran stars?

I took this paragraph to mean that this was a question from someone
involved with the SCA compound at TRF, why else would they use the
Ansteorran stars? Obviously I would not suggest that anyone take the
conventions of the SCA and apply them to other places, real life or
Ren Faires. This question, however, seems to be rather explicitly be
suggesting that the scope of such is within the SCA's presence at
TRF.

If however I am incorrect and this question involves TRF in general,
then by all means do you as you will, though asking the Star
Principal Herald, or the Kingdom Seneschal about using the 10 pointed
star would be a very wise courtesy.
