That is my definition of a "bad crown" depending on the level of
severity of what they don't do.

That is possible, but I don't think I've seen it in my SCA lifetime,
which is admittedly short in comparisson to others.

Most people don't hear most of it. That doesn't mean that they are doing
a good, bad or ineffective job. *I* certainly don't know what all goes on
in behind the crowns, but I do make my own judgements of each one that
comes along from what I do see.

Basically *I* equate and inneffective crown and a non-memborable crown
as the same. You remember the good ones and the bad ones.
