ANST - Torre 12th Night

Greetings unto the populace of Ansteorra,

On the 8th day of January, the Canton of Torre de los Brazos held their 11th 
annual Twelfth night event. The day began with a first blood rapier tourney 
with Lord Mahee(The Blood Thirsty) as its winner. Outside an archery Poker 
Shoot was held. It was won by m'lord Joe Wilson, who only 4 days prier had 
found the Torre home page and decided to try us out, bringing two trebuches 
with him for the populace to play with! The new Title Bard of Torre is Lord 
Kovac Mylos, who was chosen in the bardic competition that afternoon. 
Classes were held in Mead Making, Embroidery, European Dance, and Lucet Loom 
weaving. All with overwhelming attendance. The victory of the Games Tourney 
that afternoon was Lord Wulfker of Stonebridge Keep. After an outstanding 
performance by the "Joyous Noise Hand Bell Choir" feast began. The Misrule 
cake was served choosing our Mirsule King, Lord Broeghan. He toured the 
populace looking for the fairest and most divine amongst us to choose as his 
Misrule Queen, finalizing his choice on Lord Malachi. One of the first 
edicts the king placed upon us, was a tax on all those who did _not_ pun. 
They chose two Jesters to satisfy their whims, Lord Kovac Mylos and Lord 
William of Wolfscape. In court Lord Mahee receive a Sable Thistle for 
calligraphy.

Torre's Twelfth Night continues to be a fun and memorable experience.
