Greetings!

I have very much enjoyed the posts regarding Gulf War's tie, the points and
such. I would like to enter my $.02 now:

I believe declaring a 'winner' and a 'loser' not essential to the fun we
have at this event. The importance should be placed on how honorable we are
with each other, how much fun we can have and all the cool things that we do
to, with and for each other.

Having said that, I think that the winners of each competition ought to have
recognition for winning their category. Personally I would love to hear a
performance of the top bard at Grand Court, and see the winning display of
the static Arts (or at least learn who the winner was).

I would like to see the troupes who fought at the battles be recognized for
their achievements; see the equestrian winners show-off their skills, and
much more. I would take such joy in seeing the "best of the best" no matter
who it was who took that point.

Our enemies are not the other Kingdoms; they are animosity, jealousy, fear,
and hatred. We fight with Trimaris & her allies to make us better people,
to strive to meet the ideals of our Society and to help them achieve the
same. We can celebrate no matter who "wins" this War, provided that all
have attempted to acheive their best.

Pax,
Allessandre Desiderio
(Baroness-elect of Elfsea)
