forgotten-that all claims to rule by "right" are just so many words. It is
the arms of good fighters that win kingdoms, not incestuous squabbles and
conflicting claims. I leave those to you-give me the joy of battle and
honest gold. When I get out my purse to buy my evenings ale, it recognizes
no king.

I respect the mercenaries for defending their employer, but I do not make
wild boasts as to my claim to the French throne. You might ask your
employer,The king of France, why he would not even listen to my petition
about my right to the Crown now siting on is head.
