in the modern world, your true mongol / horse barbarian types tend to
be harley-cynn ... we keep our eye's on the skies and watch for rain
- - then we ride! (wash the bod & the ride at same time) .. last few
weeks locally have been glorious !!!
and what underlayers ???? ... proper sequence is skin then leather
... keep outer layer well greased and replace when/if abraded away by
circumstance (asphalt surfing anyone ???? ...). only addition, if
going into battle, you add the silk layer underneath the leather /
over-armour(makes pulling out arrow heads easier)
unfortunately, what with a totally blown plumbing system (old and
finally started falling apart) and a bathroom under stalled remodel,
the thread hits too close to home (g) ... goddess be praised for gym
memberships! ... used to have to "go six miles to the river to bathe"
(ymca location), changed membership so now only have to go two miles
.. ahh, the joys of civilization!
also, notorious for wearing the favored clothing until they wear out
& rot away (hold some treasured pairs of "denims & t's of many
holes") and then they become bike cleaning rags ....
... only a true rider understands why you put on your leather
jacket/jeans and face guard *before* riding into the desert in summer
