I just came across this on a site on the web
(http://familyclan.net/edward_iii.htm) and my jaw just dropped.  Did you
know that the Monday after Three Kings is the 673rd birthday on Edward III?

Edward III, King of England, was born Nov. 13, 1312, succeeded to the throne
when his father was deposed in 1327. He married in 1327 Philippa, 4th
daughter of William, Count of Holland and Hainault, by Jane, his wife,
daughter of Charles of Valeis, son of Philip the Hardy, King of France, son
of Louis IX, Saint Louis. By this lady, who died Aug. 15, 1369, King Edward
had 12 children
