ANST - An announcement from His Highness, Sir Duncan

Greetings, good gentles of Ansteorra.  It is my distinct pleasure, as squire 
to Sir Duncan Arthur Ross "The Black", to bring you this announcement on 
behalf of His Royal Highness.

Upon gaining noble and righteous victory in the glorious Crown Lists of the 
Stellar Kingdom of Ansteorra through the inspiration of his beautiful and 
gracious Lady Wife the Duchess Larissa Alwynn Clarewoode of Aquitaine, Sir 
Duncan Arthur Ross “The Black” did recognize that a prince should know the 
might of his army by knowing the strength and character of its warriors.  
His Royal Highness will endeavor to meet every armed and armoured warrior of 
Ansteorra in honorable combat, so that he may learn of their prowess and 
mettle.  Furthermore, he wishes them to know of his mettle, his honor and 
his chivalry, and he wishes to share with them the comradeship that can only 
be shared by warriors in arms.

Insomuch as it may be a Herculean task to cross swords with every noble 
warrior of this faire Kingdom, he would still invite all royal peers, peers 
of the realm, knights, squires, and men at arms who are authorized in 
armoured combat to seek him out at various and disparate events.  He shall 
present himself at a special eric, erected for this very purpose, armed and 
armoured to accept challenges as his duties of State permit.  Should it come 
to pass, through fate or the will of God, that he ascends the Stellar 
Throne, he shall maintain this policy as The Royal Majesty of Ansteorra.

So come forward, dear gentles, and approach our Prince!  Take up this 
gauntlet dropped in the spirit of comradeship and patriotism.  Show your 
might, the might that only warriors of Ansteorra possess.  Show that might 
that makes all potential invaders quake!
