If you live in East Dallas, there is a saddle shop in Blackland called
Paul's Saddle Shop.  He sells excellent quality whole sides (and only whole
sides), suede sides, rawhide, saddle trees, and misc livery hardware
(d-rings, snaps, buckles, etc...) for very reasonable costs.

BTW:  Premade horse reigns make excellent armor straps.  Just cut to length
and punch your holes.

He's about 6 miles east of highway 205 in Rockwall on highway 276.  I think
directory information lists him in Royce City.
