        I have heard your opinions and I thank you for expressing them. I
apologise if I have offended anyone.
        I further apologise if I have seemed rude. I have tried not to
be, and hope I succeeded. If I was, I can only plead that when it seemed
I was accused, it "pushed one of my buttons", and I humbly crave pardon.
