Unto Captain of the Guard Duncan MacConacher

My Dearest Captain

As you may well know by now my name is Limbrick Dahl and I have newly come
to the Barony of Bryn-Gwald.  I am writing to you this day because of a
small mystery that I have stumbled upon. While on a stroll through the
market I happened on a bag of gold coins, 50 in total. Being a good and law
abiding member of the Barony, I give it over to you and your men to see that
it gets distributed to its rightful owner. I am sure that it might have
fallen off a wagon train headed to far and distant lands, so.. it might take
many years to return it to its owners. In the future if I happen to find any
more I will make it a point to see that it gets into your hands as soon as
possible and of course if you should happen upon any of my men while they
are searching for more lost gold then their would be no reason to bother
them with questions of how their search is going
