When Dragonslayers Grow Up

i'm off to slay a dragon today
i should be home for tea
we know where to find his lair
my trusty steed and me

im going to fight some goblins tonight
all evil things beware
with blade in hand ill make my stand
'gainst darkness 'neath the stair

with elf and fairy, in dance so merry
i'll traipse beneath the moon
our voices raise in songs of praise
to many an unknown tune
some time ago,

a hero brave. no scurvy knave
can beat me in fair fight
many tried and many died
for im a doughty knight

but now im grown with job and home
i toil throught the day
through many a care i won't despair
faerie's not far away

...There is magic yet in a gold sunset
   Power'neath a midnight sky
   And many a thrill lies over the hill
   For a dreamer such as I.
