Greetings to all the good gentles of Ansteorra from Lady Afan ferch
Elystan and Lady Medb Liath, stewards of Elfsea Defender.

Thank you to everyone who came to the event, especially
those who lent a hand to help here and there when help was needed. Those
people are far too many to mention, and we know there were several, we didn't
see, who came to our aid.

Elfsea has three new Defenders! Jarl Timo Kalamanos ; Sir Don Miguel Sebastian
la Pantera de Oporto
and Lord Ferghus McKenna.

The Celtic/Norse Culture Camp won first place and a beautiful chest
hand-crafted by Lord Wilhelm von Oldenburg and carved by Lord Robert of
Slugglen.

HL Tanwyn Aniera was the hard-working coordinator for that camp. She also won
the Anything Heraldic A&S competition.

Don Llewyllyn ap Gryffdd won the Complete Medievalist and the Company of the
Grail won the List Field pavilion competition.

We would also like to thank:

Our coordinators: They handled so much of the work, we had the time to deal
with the little bumps that came along.

The Canton of Loch Ruadh: They have set a new standard by which the feeding
and care of autocrats will be measured. They not only provided meals (for
ourselves and our loved ones) but two formal teas, and an oasis complete with
a hot bath on Saturday evening. We can not say enough.

The merchants for bringing out their wares, and a special thank you to
Tucker's Tavern.

And finally,
All the participants: Without your support, this wouldn't have been an event.
Many of you not only competed in events, but also helped in our time of need.

We remain in service,
Lady Medb Liath and
Lady Afan ferch Elystan
