was a great event ... most intersting memory from it - helping a
friend get his harley fixed (on the way to a beer-run, spun the
rivets holding his sporti's drive sprocket to the brake drum .. ie:
engine was running but he wasn't going anywhere).  the look on the
armour vendors face when we brought it to his table, explained the
problem, and asked if he could help (setting new rivets) was
priceless.  the repaired part ended up sitting on his table behind
the armour offerings for a while seriously confusing a lot of people
(grin)

often the *current* middle ages is a wyrd and interesting place, eh
????
