as far back as i can remember (mid 70's) there has been a sizable
core group that are attracted to scadia for the fighting.  they stay
for the fighting.  the fighting is what solely what interests them.
this is their dream and they pursue it as they see fit.  some branch
out some don't ... personally, i don't see any difference in their
interpretation of the game as say someone who is attracted and stays
solely for the arts or (shudder) the politics.

point to always remember, you have your dream, everyone else has
theirs.  they are not always the same, nor should they be.

... originally gave up fighting to save my hands (crafter /
information worker) and a damaged knee (too many years riding a
damned kick start sporty), and drifted off into other more
interesting realms.
