[Ansteorra] an oz of prevention worth a lb of cure

  Greetings from Seraphina,

Receiving help is wonderful, but you should pack like you wont. I have
a wonderful husband, but we have very different time schedules. With a
very few exceptions I can lift and carry the hundreds of items I bring. I
simply plan a head. I do not load items heavier than I can handle. I also
don't have a tent that I can't put up myself in the dark. We also tend to
camp with a group of people and we help each other with our encampments.
For instance if we plan on getting to the site first so we take their
tents up with us and set them up while it's still light, or there is still
space ( a good idea at wars).

I'd also like to mention that I get a lot of help from both men and
women. I appreciate it greatly. I can not thank them enough. I try to
always help others as well. I'd like to remind people to help the helpers.
Many hands make light work. Those men who have lifted and carried all
weekend, I am sure, would appreciate a little help too. Just about anyone
can help fold a tarp.

Sincerely,
Seraphina
