I was not personally offended, nor threatened, by anything that was said.
Through the course of the thread, however, the contents of the various
messages were beginning to mutate, from omissions, to insinuations, to
assumptions,--  ; I was just hoping to keep things close to track.  Thank
you (every-one!) for maintaining civility through a very long discourse on
such a volatile subject.  Rather than becoming a "melee," I think we all
have achieved a little better understanding of each other.  (I have, at
least.  I've seen both sides well represented, and now understand more of
what I see and hear around me at gatherings).
   (BTW, Marion is a masculine-gender name.  Easy mistake, though.  No harm
done.)
