Arabella,

It is true that their Royal Highnesses proclamation would appear, on the
face of it, to be in violation of Kingdom Law.  But I would also point out
that at this time they do not have the power to set the date for Crown, as
that power is resident in the hands of the Crown.  Since they will become
the Crown in just 2 weeks, they will then have the power to set the date
for Crown Tourney. Also, by their very proclamation of that date, they will
change Kingdom law, at least for the duration of their reign as it pertains
to Crown Tourney and the date.  So I am not sure what you are getting at
here.  This appears to me to be nothing more that a courtesy "heads up"
from Their Highnesses so people can plan ahead and I for one appreciate it.
