I have been reading the varrious threads on ths subject since I got home
from work. there have been some good point and bad points brought out.

I would like to say something to those people who see this as coming out of
the blue or as something the BOD Just dicided to do.  the BOD twice in the
last 6+ months requested everyones opinion on the issue of raising funds for
SCA inc.  through the use of e-mail lists across the known world including
this one.  in the TI and kingdom newsletters.  the inculsion ofd a surchare
or discount was one option.  the BOD has wanted and still wants your imput
on this issue.

In my opinion when conisdering the member discount have to look at a serious
facts realisticly membership has remained ruffly trhe same over the past few
years while due to rising cost in insurance and supplies the Societys
expenses have continued to increase. If this trend continues it could put
SCA INC in truble in a few years. I for one do not want to see this happen

If events have a 3 dollor discount for members with 2 or 3 dollors going to
SCA INC  this can help ease some of the finacial strain that the SCA
curently has if you are interested in the finacil situation of SCA INC you

I would hate to see the day were there is no longer enough money to support
SCA.INC which handels alot of the mundane issues that need to be handle so
we can play our game.
