Do you ever buy something over the net with a credit card?  How about
online banking or bill paying?  Any personal info on your computer you
don't want broadcast to the world?  Maybe a list of all the kiddeporn
spam e-mails you have received, even if you deleted them all without
opening them?  Or maybe you don't care if someone downloads hidden
files to your hard drive while you are connected? Say, a program that
uses your computer to resend messages that will appear to be
originating from your machine?  Or one that simply copies your ISP
info, some someone else can use your account when you aren't?
Bad enough?
