    Greetings Ansteorra,

So another Gulf War is in the books! It is my fervent hope that each and every one who attended Gulf War XI had a great time and are looking forward to next year's war. As always, Ansteorra had many great successes but we also have some things upon which we need to improve. First things first: There are many people who need to be thanked.

To my regional land coordinators:
        Sir Alexis (Coast)
        HL Arabella (Central)
        HL Robert (North)
        Master Rosario (West)
These fine folk organized their regions, answered questions verified pre-registrations and made my job of prepping for the war easier and manageable.

    My land crew:
        HL Duncan MacConnacher
        Mistress Aethelyan
These two wonderful people took a site map, a bunch of numbers, and created the patchwork puzzle that is the Ansteorran camp. Had it not been for their skill and logic, I'd still be wandering the site trying to figure out where to put everyone!

The A&S Liaison: Mistress Ariella. This wonderful lady has managed the Ansteorran A&S effort for Gulf War for five years running and deserves a great deal of recognition. The A&S competitions are always well run we are always quite successful so she must be doing something right!

    My Volunteer Co-coordinators:
        Mistress Hillary
        Mistress Xene
This was the first year that we attempted to coordinate the volunteer effort and it paid off in many areas. People were better informed regarding where work was needed, where and how to sign up and record their hours, and I got many compliments from various staff members who said that Ansteorrans had come in, worked and saved the day.

    My Early on Crew:
        HL Arabella
        HL Ramon
        HL Crandall
        Mistress Stella
        Lady Honor
        Lord Willem
        HL Duncan
        Mistress Aethelyan
        Lord Alfred
        Lord Ian
        Lady Jennifer
        Lord Charles
        Lord Sigareth
        Baroness Cateau
        Baroness Lissa
        Dolphin of Cork
Someone please help me if I've forgotten anyone!
Some of these people we're technically on my early on list, but were family members of the early on crew, and some were on other staff member's crews but no matter - they all worked to get the war up and running. These folks laid out land, set out figures and signs, got the land desk working, set up the gate guard, worked security before the war opened and helped staff and run it on opening day when 2,000 people show up and there's almost no one to run things.

If this looks like a long list of people, it isn't. Gulf War is a massive undertaking and it requires a lot of work from a lot of people. This small list doesn't begin to take into account the number of people who worked the countless tasks through out the week, and believe me, my thanks go out to them as well.

Yours Most Sincerely,
Pendaran
Ansteorran Liaison, Gulf War XII
