You have just not been looking in the right places. We had bridges in
the Loch/Star Gate camp and Mariah saw them. She said that the Green
trolls were friendly, but the blue trolls were very mean.

You may simply be too tall to see trolls. Mariah is only 3 foot or so
tall.
