I am surprised that this weekend and site were chosen for the spring faire.
This race is HUGE. Think of HUGE and then add HUGE again. There are more
people at this race than are usually at a superbowl.

Plan accordingly, and expect delays

Greetings,

I had read earlier e-mails about a race in Fort Worth apparently adjacent to
the site for Elfsea and so figured I had better try to find a route to the
event if I was to brave the traffic.

I was looking at the Elfsea Spring Faire site trying to find a map and could
not find one so I went back to the old e-mails on the event and found a site
for the speedway from Cassandra and a note from Lord Carlos that which gave
a cryptic set of directions that seemed to require you to know where you
were before you got there (get off 35W going to Denton 1 exit early) or was
told to come early saturday or Friday night to miss the race traffic.

According to the Speedway's web site, the race preliminaries start on
Thursday and the gates on Saturday open at 8 am. So how do you miss the
traffic?

Is there going to be a map?

Not everyone, possibly not most people have ever heard of the site and the
directions as given will not allow you to obtain a map using web maps such
as MapQuest.

Thanks for your attention,
Jin Liu Ch'ang
