I thank this is the best way to go. Take 35 south to Denton then take 35W
towards Ft Worth.  Then take the exit for the Speedway (highway 114). Then
go east towards Dallas (back under the highway) on the other side of the
highway you will see a texaco on the service road. Go pass the Texaco to the
first right and follow the road to the T intersection turn left and  folloe
the road around to hawkwood entrance on the left.
