Greetings, Gentle Beings

This came across on the East Kingom List, and it occurred to me that my
fellow Ansteorrans, being large of heart and generous of spirit, might enjoy
assisting in this noble effort.

In Service,
Birgitta Frenzl of Bordermarch

> >Hi Martine,
>This is a camp that is for kids with cancer and their
>families. (at No charge to them). We hold it annually, in
>CA. at a camp called "Camp Yeager", by the ocean. It is in
>June. The last weekend, this year. Every year we have a
>theme, last year it was "Wild Wild West", year before it
>was "Millennium", this year it is "castles and Dreams". We
>try hard to come up with themes that the kids can relate
>to. Prince and princesses are what they all are to us, so
>this theme really fits. We usually average about 30
>families and 30 staff (all volunteer). Being in costume
>adds to the flavor of camp.
>If you have some thing that might work well with what we
>are doing we would love to be able to use it. Let me know.
>We can use anything that is sent to us, Kids, adults, men's
>or women's. If thing need to be tailored I will find
>someone
>to tailor them before camp. What you and Heather have done
>for us is so wonderful. We would be happy to share
>pictures with you with whatever we get.
>Again if there is anything more that I can provide please
>let me know.
>Theme: Castles and Dreams
>When: June 28-30th 2002
>Where: CA. in Cambria
>How many: Usually 30 staff (men and women)
>sizes vary.
>I shared with Heather that I can send out an "in kind
>donation" form so you can have a tax write off, if you'd
>like one let me know. If you are not sure what it is, let
>me know and I will explain it to you.
>If you decide to mail stuff out to me I will be happy to
>pay for shipping, again let me know. My mailing address is
>5950 Madera Pl.
>Atascadero Ca.
>93422
>OK, I think I answered all of your question (and then some)
>sorry I tend to rattle about this camp, it is a passion for
>me.
>And thank you so much for e-mailing me.
>Becki Nunez
