There is construction on I-20 going into Canton from the West
(northwest) after Terrell.

It has been suggested that the best route from the Dallas/Ft. Worth and
other western routes would be to stay on 80 when it splits from 20 in
Terrell.  This will send you through several small towns on your way to
Highway 64.  Take highway 64 – South to Canton.  This will put you into
Canton on the “back” side (nearest the big pavilions) of the site from
gate.
