As of the writing of this missive there remains only 1 day, 20 hours, 9
minutes, and 15 seconds until the grand event is here.

Do you wonder who will be the new Steppes Warlord and Qadi Mahdi steps
down to his new successor?  Do you wonder who will step forward to take
the mantle from Don Miguel as Champion of the Steppes?  Do you wonder
who will begin a new tenure as the Archer of the Steppes as Don
Sebastian Frobeshire steps down?  As Master Darius of the Bells leaves
his post as the current Bard of the Steppes, who will replace him?

Who will win the many and various other competitions being hosted at
Steppes Warlord this year?

Well, the best way to find out is to attend the event.  Come Dunk-A-Don
(and maybe others as well!), buy a kiss from an Amazon, eat breakfast
with the Ansteorran Longship Company, and many other exciting
activities.

You know when it is (May 24-27, 2002), you know where it is (First
Monday Trade Days Site, Canton, TX), you know what it is (Warlord XXIX).

Pets are allowed with proof rabies vaccinations (you _must_ present the
papers, tags are not sufficient – if you’re pet is too young for
vaccinations, a note from his/her doctor will serve).

There is major highway construction along Highway 20 after the 80-20
split in Terrell (from the DFW area).  Stay on 80 through Terrell
through several small towns.  Take the Highway 64-South exit which will
lead you directly to the Canton site (it will put you on the side with
the big permanent pavilions).
