here's another alternative ... drop by your friendly import store and
buy some "decorative glass" bottles - heavy, non-uniform glass.
transfetr your spoirits from the commercial bottle, add a cork and
you're set.  one bit of advice, in this age of "open container" laws,
stash it in a locked container/box/vehicle to head off any potential
misunderstandings on the road.

have also seen soem nice stoneware crocks at same stores ....
