To Mahee and all the teachers on this list and
elsewhere:

Thank you. Thank you for taking a chance on a shy,
quiet fat kid who didn't quite cut it in the "popular"
crowd. Thank you for introducing me to music and
Shakespeare and theatre and life. Thank you for
listening and for teaching me that math is important,
whether I like it or not.

Teachers are our greatest asset in society. Without
teachers, we wouldn't know about the Middle Ages,
Renaissance or our own current history. Without
teachers, we wouldn't know how to make the beautiful
clothes or strong protective armour we wear. Without
teachers, we wouldn't know how to write the beautiful
songs and sonnets the bards so eloquently sing.

I guess my point is, is that without teachers, we
wouldn't be here. Thank you from the bottom of this
shy kid's heart.
