>> Son of a vet and damn proud of him

Caladin is right on both accounts. My first thought when I read the
statement at the top was that one could also make the argument that without
our vets, we may not have teachers. But to do so, I think would continue a
possible line of thought that, for some reason, one group is better or more
deserving than the other. I think that both groups are deserving of praise
and respect. As someone who is married to a teacher I'll tell you what I
think teachers deserve more than a holiday, and that's better pay. You want
to show teachers that you appreciate them? Pay them better!

Pendaran
(And Caladin, its good that you're damn proud of him!)
