Selfless is not a 'what you do' but a 'why you do'
Chivalry is a little more refined to not only 'what you do,' but 'why you do'.

Not in my Opinion.

An act can be openly Chivalrous, but in fact be done for selfish reasons, to
all outward appearances it's a act of chivalry, but in the doers heart it is
not. An act can also be selfless, IE running to pull a child from a burning
building, but not chivalrous, because it is being done for reasons other
than honor and following a code (In this case Desapir at the thought of the
loss of the child) It makes the act no less brave, or heroic or marvelous,
but it does not make it Chivalrous either.

In my opinion, of course.
