[Ansteorra] Name that Horse

I've seen some adorable names on here [trimaris-temp list] for folk's
horses. Alas, any ideas on the namaing practices with horses in the
Middle Ages? What would be a good example of a royal's horse in those
days? Steffan, do you know of any files on this topic, off the top of
your head?
