and a lot easier to archive, easier to access, originals always
intact, easy to make paper copies when necessary, tools required are
within most peoples real-world computer budgets, and the media much
more stable over time than box's of paper (which are usually
relegated to someone's garage until they are flooded & tossed, or
abandoned in a move or years after someone goes inactive they are
tossed when cleaning out ... have seen all of these in scadia and
elsewhere)

downside, it requires CHANGE and acceptance of new tools and ways of
thinking .. not usually the sca's strong points, but something that
must be changed if the sca is expected to survive and prosper.

here's a new mantra: change is good! stasis is bad!  evolution
requires dynamic thought & action.
