I know that the name of Sir Gawain's horse (from Gawain and the Green
Knight), was Gringolet. What that means, I have no idea. I always name my
destriers after saints - hence my two Andalusians are named Clovis and
Beckett.

I've read a lot of the Arthurian legends and the stories of Charlemange and
I don't recall an horses who had names.  Swords yes, horses no.
