I think that the great thing about this list is that all the people who read it will see that there is no ONE point of view...and there is no ONE authority on any given subject...and so they will read the stuff here...and be able to form a better opinion or be more effective for themselves and their group because they have seen more than one point of view...

I have also seen people be able to bring out their perceptions and have them validated...or dispelled here...which I think is a good thing...
