Sunday Feb 16 Mail Call: Grenades are period, how far back
	R. Lee Ermey may go on them I have no idea. He looks
as old as wang leather. ;) His original Mail Call was in
	Saving Silverman.
Repeated Monday 2 am.

Sunday Feb 16 10:30-11pm The Duel / 16th Century style. New to me.

Repeat: Tues, February 18 12:00 AM

Mon, February 17 8:30 PM Conquest - The Axman Cometh
This one is quite entertaining. Ends with the Huscarls at Hastings.
It will quite turn you off from wearing mail however and it could
well make you a berserk. He does not include the halucinogens. ;)
Repeat Tues, February 18 12:30 AM

Sat, February 22 1:00 PM Mail Call - Trebuchet (this one is quite good)/

Two extremely fancy ones were found in Tutankhamun's Tomb.
	Used for fowling and hunting.

Sat, February 22 1:30 PM Conquest - Knight in Armor

Sun, February 23 10:00 PM Mail Call - Medieval Weapons/
	Lewis Gun/Carrier Pigeons/Gliders in Combat/Anti-Tank Missile/
Ejection Seats. I don't recall if this is the one where Lee
tries Medieval Sword Combat in plate Armor or not. It may
be the one where he takes on a watermellon with a crossbow.
Repeat: Mon, February 24 2:00 AM

Sun, February 23 10:30 PM Conquest - Weapons of the Gladiators. New to me.
Repeat: Mon, February 24 2:30 AM

However much some folks can harp a bit, they are entertaining programs.
Much better than when I was a little kid in the fifties, although the
Robin Hood and Zorro series were very entertaining every day.

*** A separate series appears to be coming on the Discovery Channel
called Tournament. I've seen the ads on TV, but they don't say when
and the site is down today. I didn't notice Conquest's Peter Woodward
in the ads. Nothing like 15 second blurbs...

He has also done Unusual Weapons of the Middle Ages, Bow and Arrow
against Knigts, Tournament, Bull Riding, and Demolition Cars in
the Conquest series on the History Channel. If he seems at all
familiar he was the techno-mage in Babylon-5 and the succeeding
series (that had no ending).

Cut and paste if you wish - WITHOUT my Address on it Please.
Please do NOT forward on to the Rialto rec.org.sca or
any open newsgroup. I do this as a service to my fellow
reenactors. Getting spam and arguments for my troubles
is not rewarding.

Forwarding to your local kingdom, barony, canton, shire,
or reenactor group is fine. So are your friends.

Master Magnus, OL, Atlantia, GDH
