Greetings....again......

Just had an update from HE Brian, the Day at The Pas de Armes, event
steward, concerning the event site in Livingston.

Currently, the ground is pretty well soaked. However, the pavilions are dry
and the site roads are open.

The camping areas are not flooded, but the ground is wet and make for some
mud in the less grassy areas.

The list fields are not flooded, but are wet. By Sat, they will have
drained off and be ok.

There is a possibility that the equestrian area will not be usable due to
the softness of the ground and the wear and tear the horses have on it.
Stay tuned for more on that.

As it stands now.........

We ARE having the event. We ARE having the event!!!!

Camping tonight may be a bit cool and damp, but there are places that are
or will be drained and useable by this evening. But there are several
motels in the area and one can use the pavilions for cover if needed.

We also still have feast seating. Due to the scheduling and weather needs,
please call 936-581-5632 for feast reservations or make and pay for them at
the gate.

So, we are having the event as planned. Please come on over and have a fine
weekend at the Pas with Raven's Fort.

Here is the NWS Galveston weather forecast as of 6am Friday.......

This afternoon. Showers and thunderstorms. Some storms may be severe.
Locally heavy rain possible. Highs in the lower 60s. East winds near 10
mph. Chance of rain near 100 percent.

Tonight. Mostly cloudy. A chance of showers and thunderstorms in the
evening. Lows in the lower 50s. South winds 5 to 10 mph shifting to the
west 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 50 percent.

Saturday. Partly cloudy in the morning then clearing. Highs in the mid 60s.
Northwest winds 10 to 15 mph.

Saturday night. Mostly clear. Lows in the mid 40s.

Sunday. Partly cloudy. Highs in the upper 60s.

If anyone has any questions about the event, please call 936-581-5632.

In Service,

HE Niklas
Baron of Raven's Fort
