Hmmmm.....You can always drive for the information, certainly. When HL Delphina de Champeaux started La Marche Sauvage she drove all over the place to bring knowledge and teachers back to the group, from fighting to A & S. Also, too, you might call Regional officers of the area you are interested in and ask them to come visit, even if it will be just to see and teach you. Another thing to do is to call local groups, even if local means 2 1/2 hours away, and see if they would have anyone interested in having someone come down to teach something, whether it is a regional officer, some other group's member who has knowledge in what you'd like to learn, or whomever can help you out, and maybe have a multiple group day of teaching?
If your group has absolutely no interest whatsoever, that's a little difficult to work around, but hopefully at some point your group would have an event and *then* some unofficial, or official, classes could be held. Or if for some reason *nothing* can be done during the event, why not invite the person you'd like to teach to come a day early, or stay a day, or a Sunday morning, and teach at your house or something?
I'm out of ideas for the moment, but there has to be some way to get the info and/or generate interest in the info inside the group. Coming from such a small group, 9 years ago, where all visitors, teachers, etc., were extremely welcomed and highly valued, I guess I didn't realize how lucky I was at that time for the wealth of information and knowledge I had access to. : )
