Yes, you are right.  Laurels are often expected to judge events such as
ours.  However.  We are a small Canton, and run on democratic lines - if you
think you can handle something, you get to try.  So i ask:  Who will try?
Two have stepped forward, so far.
We have a Title competition in Static Arts and Sciences (textiles, research,
foods, etc), a Novice competition which would require lots of helpful
comments to the competitors, a Youth competition ditto, and our new Title
competition in Performance Arts (including Bardic, Dance, etc).
It is entirely possible and 'legal' to judge one category and enter another.
