[Ansteorra] Morgan's Observation

Well,.....don't laugh, but each group needs a Radar, or someone like Radar;
even a Klinger will do.. You know, the Company clerk guy on MASH that keeps
everything running and knew what all was going on even if the one in charge
didn't have a clue.

You gotta have someone who'll set down from time to time and do that
terrible piece of paper work called an "Award Recommendation". The sad fact
of life, in all walks of life, is that it's easier to say something bad
about a person than to write up something good.

Don't get flustered because you're writing to the Crown. A few months ago
they weren't, and in a few months they won't be again. They are us. Just
tell them what So-n-So has been doing to make you think they should get a
Such-n-such award. If you want to use the on line form, cool. I just write
Them a letter. Just tell Them what you think. Don't worry that your use of
the English language isn't the greatest. Mine sure isn't. Just do it.
They'll get the idea. And don't give up if the first one doesn't work. We
put one ol' boy in 8 times for his AoA. Just keep after it.

I do fear; however, that if every one ever recommended all those that should
be recognized for whatever it might be, the scribes and those who make the
insignia could not keep up. Wouldn't that be grand?????

I get almost sick every time I'm in a court and they say, "So-n-so has been
bustin' his/her butt in this Shire for 10 years." And the person gets an
AoA. Come on folks, we got Peers who became Peers with less than 10 years
in this thing we call a game. Put some ink on the paper. Hell, the tree is
already dead!! Use it.

Which, reminders me.... I was going to write some up tonight...see ya.
Hey..You stuck this soap box under me??

Gilli
Shoot more arrows. You're bound to hit something.
