[Ansteorra] Nuttiness closer to Home

Along that line...

There's a book I picked up at a garage sale: 'Crimes and Mis"dumb"meanors,
You have the Right to Remain Dumb" It has tales of the dumbest criminal
acts!

Like the latest one I heard this week on the evening news about a fellow who
was stealing clothes from a store. He carefully pulled the alarm tags off
all the items and strolled out of the store with his loot. When he passed
the alarm, it went off. He had forgotten he had hidden in his pocket the
removed tags!
<G>

I'll be on the lookout for Ari's "pickle agreement" book. Sounds super.

>>This is a great website that has several state laws across the country that
>>are a little odd. http://www.dumblaws.com/ Some of them are outdated, but
>>are usually noted that at one time they were standing laws.
>>
>>For example, in my home town Borger, Texas.
>>* It is against the law to throw confetti, rubber balls, feather dusters,
>>whips or quirts (riding crop), and explosive firecrackers of any kind.
>>And One of my favorites, It is Illegal to go whale fishing in Nebraska.

>>PS. Eons ago, there were two boys in Abilene TX who found an ancient law
