Mid-Summer Knights Dream XI
Arts and Sciences Competitions

Scribes! Illuminators! Leatherworkers! Smiths! Clothiers! And all Artisans
of the Realm, GREETINGS!

You are invited to display your talents at Mid-Summer Knights Dream being
held August 29th through September 1st, 2003 at the Rogers Scout Camp in
Ione, Arkansas.  See the Popular Chivalry for directions or contact the
Autocrat  Frederick Alten (Fred Zeiler, 479-667-0821, fzeiler at ar_digit.net)

Are you a beginner or someone that enjoys creating beautiful works but only
for fun?  You are encouraged to bring your work and enter it in the Red Rose
Category.  Documentation is always welcome, but not necessary.   The entries
will need to be available for populace voting from 11am to 5pm on Saturday.
Everyone is encouraged to participate!

Have you made a period garment or armor?  Do you have a well researched game
or other handmade creation?  Do you have the explanations and documentation
to demonstrate your craft to others?  Please enter your work in the White
Rose Category.  This category will be reviewed by experienced judges who can
give your effort its due.  Please have your entries to the judging table by
11:30.

Children!  You can have your talents displayed too!  Show your artwork or
things you've made or learned in your very own Rosebud Category!  This is
not a competition.  All childrens entries will receive a participation
token.

Please join the Shire of Smythkepe for a weekend of fighting, fun and
learning starting August 29th at 4:30pm.
