Dang it's nice to hear from all you old timers. I get to feeling rather
primordial down here and you all have bumped me clear to the cretaceous. My
first event was the first Ansteorran Crown Tournament at which I fought in
the rapier list believe it or not. Tivar that reminds me, what was all that
about some Count named Banana?

I am still here, just extremely limited in my 'travel-options' at present.
And Sir Tarl Mapt, Premier Knight & former Baron to the Stargate, still
plays as his health and schedule allows.

Starholder (one of the nine founders of the Stargate)


...
and there ar a few of us older types who while not "active" on a regular
basis (having to spend all the available time & energies on real-life and
other life-obligations that triaged out the real time spent on the hobbie)
are still around at some level or another ...

some still hang round and keep the membership up (or did until TI was
unbundled .. still pondering that one) ... a lot of us older keltoi types
simple went into their respective sidhes and closed the doors a long while
back, and not many venture out into the game these days - but some of us
still hang together (better than hanging seperatly) ... such as my drinking
bro & brother in arms Viscount Sir Sean (and see Viscount Katrina a couple
time a year), Sir Balthazar out in the west (got to go riding with him when
he rode into town on his bike a while back ...), and last year found out
where Grey Raven is lurking these days (and making awesome jewelry ...
planning a visit on the next western walk-about).

self started up in '74 (after seeing a 60 minutes segment on the New York
folk), and knows Shanahan from shortly there after (thanks to her house for
taking me in when i showed up in houston for the university years), and
Tivar when he was just a no-account alley dueler at Rice and was prone to
hanging out up in the trees (literally) .... (grin)

... so many nice memories of times past .. anyone here at one of the first
warlords up steppe ways when a certain notorious local psych case tried to
put Torgutai in the sack during a kidnap ????? ...
