Aonghas and I remember the loft, too.  It was nice having a place to
impromptu get-togethers, but we have too many people for that space anymore.
(I wish we could find and afford something bigger.)

My first event was Steppes Twelfth Night 1980, and Aonghas had been playing
for about six months then.

(That's only a couple of years ago, isn't it?)
